Learnership Implementation – National Implementation and Coordination of learnerships

This overview demonstrates our ability to coordinate and implement learnership programmes at multiple project sites while building sound relationships with (host) employers and relevant stakeholders

In terms of learnership implementation, ProServ South Africa has implemented in excess of 2,400 learnerships nationally, involving a wide range of employers since 2002. Overall we have experienced a drop out ratio of 18% and a placement ratio of unemployed learners completing the learnership of 83%. Most learnerships were conducted with funding from Services SETA and THETA.

National Skills Fund (DHET) - Implementation of Learnership and Skills Programme Training Services for 1000 Learners Nationally 

This example proves our ability to train under the Skills Development Act and manage contracts nationally.

ProServ South Africa has been appointed by the National Skills Fund (NSF) to recruit 1,000 learners nationally and source host employers to provide a realistic work environment and implement learnerships and skills programmes over a period of 18 months. We are implementing this project nationally involving regional project coordinators, facilitators, quality assurers, assessors, coaches and mentors.

 

LSG

LSG Sky Chefs - Implementation of Learnership and Skills Programmes

This example demonstrates our ability to manage training processes in line with the needs of large scale organisations.

Since 2003, ProServ South Africa has been contracted by LSG Sky Chefs to develop and implement various learnerships and skills programmes, including a National Certificate in Professional Cookery. Skills Programmes have focused on Assistant Chefs and Supply chain management both for employed and unemployed staff members

 

Parktonian

Protea Hotel Parktonian All Suite - Skills Development Facilitator Services

This example supports our experience in skills development and related services.

Since 2003 ProServ South Africa has provided skills development facilitator services to the PROTEA Parktonian All Suite Hotel in Johannesburg and continues to do so. New and existing staff is trained on service excellence and quality standards. Other training programmes that we have offered are Customer Service, Supervisory Development Programmes, and Service delivery in Food and Beverage as well as Accommodation Services. ProServ South Africa chairs their training and employment equity committees and completes and submits the WSP / ATR and Employment Equity Reports on their behalf.
