Training Services

Our Training Services division is a CATHSSETA (previously THETA)-accredited provider of skills development services, operating mainly in the tourism industry. The training programs range from vocational skills in all functional areas of the Tourism industry to supervisory and management development programs applicable to a wider range of industries, both as short course programmes as well as 12-month certificate programmes.

Its services include the following:

  • Vocational training in all functional areas of the Tourism Sector (in cooperation with its Strategic Partners)
  • Supervisory and management development programs
  • Project management of skills development initiatives
  • Development of learning materials
  • Licensing of learning materials
  • Skills audits and training needs analysis
  • Moderation of training and assessment
  • Community leadership development
  • Short course programmes on a variety of topics
  • E-learning platforms

 

Enterprise Development

Our Enterprise Development division offers skills development and support services to emerging enterprises in a variety of sectors. These services are offered either to the emerging enterprises directly or to assistance programmes.

  • Our services include the following:
  • Diagnostic analysis of enterprises
  • SMME-development through short courses
  • Certificate programmes (Certificate in New Venture Creation)
  • Management of Business Incubator Programmes
  • Enterprise mentorship and business advice
  • Facilitating business linkages
